Cleaning Process: The Esporta Wash Process

Check In:

Bring your equipment into Equipo C or one of its Esporta Drop Zones convenient to you. The Operator will inspect your equipment, record items to be cleaned and provide a receipt. Your complete order is placed into a numbered red plastic bag ready for loading into the wash system.

Loading:

Your equipment is loaded into a protective mesh bag which safely secures your gear during the cleaning and sanitizing process. Special attention is given to ensure that your equipment will be positioned in the bag to ensure the best cleaning results. Presoaking of heavily soiled items like gloves is often performed.

Cleaning:

The Esporta ES3250 system goes through a series of wash, rinse, and extract cycles before the final drying process. The system uses two advanced detergents, a disinfectant or sanitizer and a finishing fragrance to ensure that your equipment is professionally cleaned.

With the recent introduction of Esporta's new line of cleaning agents and four-stage process, the leading combination of cleaning chemicals has just become more powerful. This includes the EPA approved laundry disinfectant (Stage 3-FORCE ADDITIVES) which effectively eliminates bacteria and fungus from the equipment. In clinical lab trials Esporta's EPA approved sanitizer eliminated 99.9% of these harmful agents. Moreover, in testing of sports equipment wherein Fecal Coliform was present prior to being put through the Esporta wash process, Esporta's new Force Additive achieved a complete reduction of the Fecal Coliform.

This low alkaline formula is compatible with leather and fabric dyes and helps preserve the integrity of the tough to clean articles like gloves, runners and skates.

It is this bacteria, fungus and mold, that causes the various health issues (MRSA/Staph), as well as the unbearable stench of filthy sports equipment. These organisms are also responsible for the breakdown and rot of the foam, leather and fabric used in construction of the sports gear.

Drying:

Your equipment comes out of the ES3250 machine smelling fresh and clean. The equipment has approximately 10% moisture content at this stage to keep the leathers soft and prevent overheating of plastics used in the equipment. A final stage on the finishing rack and the equipment is ready to go back to the player.

Check Out:

Your equipment is returned in a clear Esporta bag, ready for your next big game and or recreational outing.
